Favorite UT hoopers

I grew up in Memphis as a huge Memphis state fan. If yall don't know, the old Coliseum rocked back in the day vs Louisville and such.
At any rate, I didn't start watching UT hoops until I transferred there in '88.
Who are your favorite players since you've been old enough to follow?
For me off the top of my head, Houston, Nix, weezy, Lofton, Jujuan Smiff, Grant, Admiral, Watson.
I have to say, Santi is getting there. His defense is worthy of all sec and he wows me every game somehow offensively.
ZZ, assuming he keeps this up, will be up there in a couple years.

Zeiggy Stardust is quickly ascending the list. But top 5 right now is probably Slay, Chism, Lofton, Grant, Admiral

 

People are searching for a nickname for him. Cobra Zakai ain't bad

 

I liked ZZ Stop but he’s not really a defensive specialist

I liked Tony Harris quite a bit. He played hard even if all of his teammates didn’t .

 

He has 16 steals in his past 5 games alone, including 5 steals in 17 minutes against Miss State. He has 14 games of multiple steals, with 5 games of 4+.

He has 3 blocks this season too; not too bad for a 5'9" guy (7'"0 Plavsic has 4 this year, lol).

 

Yeah he’s really good on defense. He’s also going to be an excellent offensive pg though

Wiseman was a favorite of mine, also.

 

He was the legend of the game, or whatever BBall calls it, for the Vandy game.

 

I played against him when he was at Bolton. 6'4 badass in HS. Bolton for a few years there was nasty. They had another beast named Sylvester Gray who went on to Memphis St then NBA. Dude looked 30 in HS. 6'6 230 grown man
