I don't know which celebration will be bigger for me. Butch Jones leaving Tennessee, or Nick Saban leaving Bama. Both signal an immeasurably positive change in my life.

 

When it does happen, We need an 8th party in a central location for all that desire to attend. BBQ is on Beech!

Is this ticket sales....or turnstile? Big difference, IMO.

 

I'm assuming (don't have proof) he meant announced attendance which IIRC is tickets sold and not butts in seats. Could be wrong on that.

 

Exactly. I bought season tickets...they could give a rats ass if my butt is in the seat now or not.

Even if it's turnstile, it's a strong predictor of what ticket sales will be in the upcoming season. Further, even if only turnstile, those empty seats are felt at the concessions and merch stands. And like Dooley, Butch isn't Bruce Pearl...he ain't talking them into the building. It attendance dips into the 80's after UGA, he has to be gone.

stew mandel said something similar on his podcast with Feldman. Feldman didn't think he was going to get fired stew's response was "how can he not get fired?"

I think I heard from someone else here that he also said that this week both kickers will warm up before each field goal and they won't know who will be kicking until called upon.

Brice on Tony B's show broke the news about Atone (Antoine?) Davis not traveling with the team, too.
