I didn't think he was actually fired. Just hated by the fan base.

Couldn't beat Muschamp, no reason to believe we will have any better luck against Freeze.

 

This isn't about Butch. This is about UF not getting what I believe to be a high end hire.

 

I don't want our next coach to have to deal with a juggernaut Florida team. We couldn't beat Dooley. Doesn't matter who is hired for this staff.

 

I'm assuming that the hope that Freeze is hired is due to off-the-field stuff, because from a recruiting and gameday standpoint, I think he'd be lights out at Florida.

And were I him, I'd almost take a pay cut to go to Florida, than to remain at Ole Miss.

If this rumor is true, I can't fathom he says no.

 

I don't see it. I see him bringing in talent but getting fired for off the field issues.

 

Please, please, please let this happen. Let Bucky Beaver bite the hand that has gotten him to where he is and see how it turns out for him. Lord, PLEASE let them hire him.

No idea. It's as much of an option as anything else right now.

McElwain makes more sense to me, but then again I've never gotten the Bucky Beaver love from anyone either.

 

Heard this morning that McElwain has a 7.5 million buyout. That is a lot of money to shell out upfront to hire a coach after paying a buyout to the guy you just fired.

 

Muschamp resigned. I'm sure there was finagling with his buyout.

 

Bruce Feldman says UF has not offered any coach. Per his Twitter.

 

Fulmer "resigned" as well. No way Muschamp is resigning without getting all of his buyout. He would say "fire me, [itch bay]es" instead. But I could be wrong.

 

And I don't believe a single word that comes out of the mouth of any AD, agent, Head Coach, waterboy or anyone associated with college athletics.

 

Foley is a much better AD than Hamilton.
