then I have no idea. I know he's bounced around coaching at all sorts of different HSs in and around Nashville.
He is currently coaching at Whites Creek. I think he was at Hillsboro before that. IIRC he attended Stratford.
so I looked it up... Mose Philips did go to Hillsboro and resigned at Whites Creek last year. Some guy named Scott Murray is now coaching them. He previously coached at Glencliff? Never even heard of that school, but it's in the same area as Whites Creek. A golfing buddy of mine back home thought Mose Philips was the man.
This is the most excited i've been for a UT vs. UF game in a long ass time. maybe even more than the year i actually got to go to it.

2 weeks during the college football season that stand out to me more than the others. This is one of them.
Must... taste.... sweet victory. Want it bad. Had my knee brace on all week. It's dry out here so I have to stare at my bath tub.
The Dale Carter kickoff return is one of my favorite football memories. 7-3 at the half. Outscored them 38-0 in the second half. I believe to this day it's the lowest point total of Spurrier's career.
Because I was curious myself, I checked this out... South Carolina was shutout by Georgia in 2006, 18-0. Those 3 points against UT was the lowest total for any of his offenses at Florida, however. Looks like they only scored in single digits four times in his tenure there.
