Game 1: They beat Powell 83-3 Game 2: Beating Bearden 70-0 at halftime. Apparently, they are good at football.
Just imagine what the scores would be like if there wasn't a rule in place for the clock to run non-stop when the game gets out of hand.
84-0 in the fourth now. Good gracious. Catholic was beating Coalfield 61-0 at half, but my goodness...
it's hard to find an excuse for letting a QB run back 20 yards to gather a snap over his head and subsequently run 40 yards the other way to pick up a first down on 3rd and long
Sincere question: isn't Fulton an open-enrollment and/or magnet school? If so, mystery solved. See: Rebels, Maryville; Tornadoes, Alcoa; Knoxville, Christian Academy; Catholic; Christian, Grace; et al.
I hope the new Powell coach is just renting, and that he left some strong bridges back in Chattanooga. If having 44 kids on the Panthers roster won't kill him, losing by 80 points damned sure will.
Friend was a teacher at Fulton during the coatney years. I forget how many players typically got suspended the Monday after football was over.
I haven't seen or talked to any, but on a couple of those calls they should. The one facemask was bogus because that whistle was too slow. Maryville's defense is really good. Front four is about as good as I've seen at high school level in some time.
Too bad the cowards from Alcoa and Maryville don't want any. Seeing Fulton eviscerate them would be delicious.
