Not exactly a good weekend for GA sports fandom's reputation.

 

Talk about delusional fan bases. UGA's is right up there with ours.

 

The Turner Field incident was really surprising. I've never seen Braves fans that passionate --however wrongly channeled- over te game. Usually, they are trying to figure out how to get on TV in the bottom of the 7th and get the wave going in the 8th and 9th.

 

I've been a lot of places for football games. Athens twice, and both times their fans have been the worst I've been around, and that includes Baton Rouge. Still haven't made it to Gainesville though.

 

They are not as bad. They are pathetic. Gainesville is the worst no competition.

 

I had 40 year old guys with kids barking in my face, and I had to run some guy down and take my digital camera back after he stole it last time I went down there. Of course it was 06 when we hung half a hundy on them so it wasn't all bad.

 

Agree with this. Basketball is just as bad and they stink at that.

 

UGA fans have consistently been the worse I've been around

It is hard to tell any of the SEC fan bases apart sometimes.

 

I have to be nice to them since the majority of them are Georgia fans that I work with, but there is that one OU fan we have

When I go to back to work Wednesday, I'll bring over a truck load of eggs and TP, just incase they are running low.

 

At Cal you'd be kicked out for disturbing the trees and wasting paper, not anything you did to the players. JMO.
