I will say this: Fulmer had 16+ years of head coaching at UT, with a ton of players in the NFL that could afford to take an ad like that out in a paper. Lyle doesn't have that kind of foundation here (or anywhere). That said, I don't think we are going to see all of the current players show up at a press conference when Lyle is getting canned chanting his name and demanding he comes back. They might show up, but it will be to shove a microphone up his ass as he walks by.
Or to gut punch him... Apparently we may even have a few former Bearcats show up to get a lick in also!
