Gators share their opinions of the upcoming Tennessee game. Some highlights: CB Marcus Roberson Q: What's your impression of QB Tyler Bray?" A: He's a good QB. He forces good balls. Q: What did you learn about Tyler Bray when playing him last year? A: He's a daredevil, he likes to force the ball. Q: So, he (Bray) takes a lot of chances? A: Yes (laughs) Q: Do you see those two guys (Hunter and CP84) as being better than the two they had last year? A: No, not really. Q: Does Tennessee look any different this year, than last? A: No. It's pretty much the same stuff, but with less motion. Some unidentified WR: Q: What do you think about Tennessee's secondary? A: They're pretty solid, but I feel really great about this game. Q: Why do you feel great about this game? A: (smiling) We're 2-0 and I just feel good about this team. Is Marcus Roberson the one who had to hold Da'Rick on every route last year to keep him from catching the ball? Or was that Riggs?
I remember one in particular getting abused a lot that night trying to cover him. Can't remember who it was, though.
I think their front 4/7 will have more to do with beating us than the secondary if it happens. The best secondary in the world is at a disadvantage if a good QB has time.
Not surprising but the common theme among FLA fans seems to be that they're going to somehow score 28+ points and hold us to around 17. Again, not surprising but I don't see how they're getting that given the facts and situation.
Agreed. I mean, I get the arrogance. Hell they've beaten us 7 yrs in a row but reality has to set in at some point right?
We could lose this game close and be okay I think, but if we play like crap and its a big letdown, that's going to do a lot of damage to the program or at least the collective psyche of the fanbase. That said, by all reason we should win this game
Most of the ones with any sense feel like they will have to play very well and UT slip a little to win the game.
Without Jenkins and Powell and with the other good one dinged(forgot his name the one from NY that Muschamp cried for) their front seven is thin and average for the SEC. They are going to get hammered. IMO. They have no idea what the intensity level of this game is going to be as well. Perfect Storm.
