The year is 2048. Sergio Garcia hasn’t touched a golf club since 2028, after blowing his club championship on 12 putt final hole. Captain Rory McIlroy uses a Captain’s Pick on him anyway. He goes 5-0-0.
Congrats to the European team on winning the Ryder Cup. I’m sure they can’t wait to get back to the country of Orlando to celebrate.
Hit a couple of golf balls with JJ Worton, the sound of his driver hitting the ball actually hurt my ears. I couldn't even see the ball after he hit it. There was a ping, a sonic boom, then nothing, ball was gone.
Have a friend that had a lesson today. Something about 150% of body weight into the ground, then up on the toes or something. I dont know. If ever up this way in spring, holla. I'm 8.6 right now. Course 10 where I play. Thats about as low as I got in me.
So...what don't I know about putting with a stick in your hole? https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/golf/is-bryson-dechambeau’s-flagstick-putting-method-about-to-go-mainstream/ar-BBRMN1K?li=BBnba9I
So what else happens now cotton? -move loose rocks in bunkers -drop from inches off ground instead of shoulder -putt with pin Anything else?
Pace of play is major factor. But the rules committee also said that the flagstick left in doesn't give a competitive advantage, and in fact stated that it could actually make the putt more difficult to go in by ricochet. So, they dropped the penalty of a ball striking a flagstick.
