Masters gonna suck this year when all the big names will be playing in whatever tournament Norman sets up that weekend out of spite.

Majors aren't run by PGA, it's USGA, so the suspensions have no effect on them. Sergio, Gooch, Dechambeau et. al are all playing this week.

It’s complicated, but I think the plan is to let them all fall out of the OGWR as the LIV Tour isn’t an officially recognized tour and a lot of majors eligibility is based on or determined by your OWGR.

I’ll be curious to see what ANGC does though. I think the past champs will play, but the rest of the stiffs, has beens and never gonna bes may be shit outta luck.

 

Also, I could not care less who is in The Masters field. It could be chock full of weekend hacks like myself shooting triple digits and I’d still try to win tickets in the lottery because to me, it’s all about the golf course. That the best players in the world are there is just a bonus.

 

I guess my Greg Norman/Masters joke didn't land like I thought it would in my head.
