That is our perspective. I can see where they are coming from, though. I wouldn't want to hold up a group of guys as priests of prosperity if they kept my ancestors in chains, either.

 

I'd like to think that I'm smart enough to not carry a chip on my shoulder about events that occurred 200 years before I was born.

The Founders weren't perfect, but let's not lose sight of the fact that the system they created has done more for individual freedom than any other political system that's ever been tried.
