Pruitt did have this in state class wrapped up tight, his getting fired blew that up. That being said, the most important recruit is Walter Nolan and he's uncommitted. They're trying to get back in with Aaron Hayden's son Dallan too
https://volswire.usatoday.com/2021/...hem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=facebook Don't know who this guy is really, but I found it to be an interesting read.
When he decides to play, he's unbelievable. He takes a lot of plays off. If he can be broke of that, he can be a top 10 draft pick. That's a huge if
The fact that Weinke still had a spot to take was pathetic. Should’ve been gone after his first year.
Is this the cat from Powell? If so, yeah, when AC played them for the first game of the year, he was almost invisible save about two plays that game. But that dude is a specimen.
I 50% understand and 50% don’t understand this. I feel like if I was him and I could, I would want to wreck shit every snap, but then I might just look across at the 150-lb guard and just be bored with it
He's got all the raw talent imaginable. He's just your typical lazy and entitled recruit. I would not expect much year one unless heupel is a great derecruiter.
This might be dramatic, but to me, it’s as much about the optics of signing (as well as not losing) an in state #1 overall recruit in your backyard as it is about the impact he makes or doesn’t make on the field. It sends a message to other kids in the state, and I would think boosts the perception of this program to any recruit looking at the class they’d be joining/following. We need any type of boost we can get as long as these sanctions are looming.
Wherever he goes, I get the feeling if things don't go well early on he will be looking for the next best thing.
