I like the softball team. Haven’t watched a LV game in years.

 

Softball team is a top 10 program. They are legit.

 

Just signed #1 class for 2019.

In favor of doing whatever costs the athletic department the least amount of money. If it's keeping Holly, do it. If it's firing her and hiring someone from the local rec league, then do that.

We have a football program to rebuild, a baseball stadium that is way behind the rest of the conference, and a football stadium that needs updates. No need to spend any more money than necessary to keep the Lady Vols functioning at any higher than a minimum level.

 

Following Pat was unwinnable position.

That’s not excusing Warlick. She’s terrible. But was probably necessary.

Gotta figure it’s the most attractive vacancy in the sport now. They should be able to remedy things pretty quickly.

Pat never lost 3 games in a row.

 

I may not remember this stat right, but I believe she’s lost as many SEC games as Pat did in 16 years.

 

Looks like Holly has lost 25 conference games in her tenure.

Summit lost 25 games from 91-92 season through retirement after 11-12 season.

20 years vs 6 and change.

Id have to dig a little for her first years. Conference stats for women's bball before 80s are a little harder to find.

 

I don’t think Pat lost to many SEC teams not named Auburn for a long time.

 

Comparing Holly to Pat is like comparing Bowden Wyatt to Neyland (I know Harvey Robinson followed Neyland but nobody remembers him). It’s unfair to both and just makes a bad situation worse. UT women’s basketball will have other great coaches and we’ll return to the top some day but it won’t be with Holly. She’d be perfectly fine at 99%of other schools but the show she’s running right now isn’t going to play much longer.

 

This is why you don't let a coach hire their friend to replace them. Mental state not withstanding.

Harvey Robinson to Neyland is much more appropriate. Bowden Wyatt was like Don Draper the season he couldn’t keep his shit together.
