If you are going to do this, why not send Milwaukee back to the AL?

Have they decided on no divisions or not? That was up in the air last I saw.

so there's going to be a one game wild card playoff? That's ridiculous. What if a team like the Rays have an outstanding season, but finish second to the Yankees in the AL East, we'll say two games back and the Indians sputter along and finish 15 games back of the Tigers (and 16 back of the Rays), but have the second best wild card standings, then Jimenez pitches a gem and sends the Rays packing while the Indians proceed to get swept by the Yankees? That will make for some less than dramatic baseball. Horrible move. I don't like extending interleague play either and now they'll be a bunch of it with uneven leagues.

Guess there will always be at least one interleague mid-week and weekend matchup going on.
