A terrible but well-intentioned effort is infinitely better than perfectly doing nothing. You don’t have to have it all figured out. Sometimes people want the secret to come out, whatever it is, because they need and are hoping for help - but are too afraid, embarrassed, proud to accept help...so don’t assume that it’s purely accidental that you found out.
Well, I have been asking him to get out...Orange and white game or bowling, anything to get him out and talk to him. Seems like that isn't on the table right now so I guess I will have to try and settle for just texting for now. Better than nothing I suppose.
My friend has gotten back to work. This is huge. He suffered a pretty rough injury while working and was out of work for well over a year. I haven't been able to talk to him the way I wished I could have but hopefully none of that matters, as he appears to at least be trying.
