Is HRC Bisexual / Lesbian? Some Questions.

There are innumerous reports out - from reputable reporting sources - that HRC is either bisexual or a lesbian.

I intend to start a thread on the subject, with the intent to ask the following to the group:

    1. Do these reports seem credible, or not.
    2. Should it matter if she is bisexual / lesbian, as it relates of her candidacy for office?
    3. Will that question matter to most Americans, come November, rightly or wrongly?
    4. If it matters, how strongly would it influence voters in November - for well or ill?
    5. If these reports are being reputably reported, and easily available, why isn't the mainstream media reporting on them - and should they, or not?
    6. Should she be asked about it, and be required to respond? What if she confirms it? Denies it?

Are these all fair questions to ask, in your opinion?

It shouldn't matter if she bangs more guys than NYY or more chicks than RB, people's opinion of her in regards to the election should be based solely on her merits, ideas, ability, etc.

There's a damned big difference between "is", "maybe", "could", "should" and "will".

    My responses:

    1. The reports are credible. I don't know about those making the statements.
    2. No.
    3. Yes.
    4. She will garner some who are outwardly empathetic, primarily amongst those already voting for her, but overall, it will effectively end her chances of being elected. No, nobody will say that it does - just the opposite, in fact - but it will, as soon as the voting booth curtain is pulled.
    5. Either they don't feel that it's credible, at best, or they know that she is and won't report it for fear of hurting her election chances, at worst.
    6. Yes, she should be asked about it, but not because of relevance to the candidacy, but rather, because she deserves a chance to answer to it, and the American people deserve a chance to know and weigh it, accordingly. But also, the alternative - of having it just linger out there - is infinitely worse for her campaign, no matter whether she is or not, or gives a definitive answer to it.

No, I don't think that they are disallowed from voting.

But if you do not provide information to them that would allow them to make their own decision, aren't you somewhat hindering their ability to make an informed decision?

    Is that ok?

No. What goes in and/or around her vagina is nobody's business and matters **** all in her ability/inability to lead a country.

I don't think she's inclined to have to come out if she doesn't want to if its true.

Should trump have to tell if he watches porn or any number of other objectionable lifestyle choices that might sway voters

What if the length of Trump's Johnson is important to some voters. Would he then be obligated to provide pics of his yogurt slinger to the whole country?

    The outlets are credible enough.

Has no bearing on qualifications for office.

Not sure about 'most' Americans but, yes, it will have relevance with many voters.

On its own, I'm not sure. The country has evolved significantly on this topic over the last 10-20 years, so I'm not sure it would be a deal breaker individually. The problem with Hillary is the compound effect. She's already a significantly damaged candidate, so adding this to her 'issues' pile (how many will view it) will not help her in the slightest.

Also, though the GLBT community hardly decides elections, many would not come flocking to her were this true. Rather, they would ask "why did it take you so damn long to champion GLBT issues when you were one of us?". She by no means has the entirety of the community on her side.

Probably a road they are reluctant to travel. As she is the wife of a former (popular) president, a mother and perhaps most importantly a Clinton, I'd guess they want to have a level of certainty before they broach that subject. That said, I don't have a problem with the media reporting on it if they are comfortable with the available information.

This gets tricky. Sexuality is an extremely personal matter and wholly irrelevant to political office. We're squarely in the "none ya damn business" zone with that line of questioning.

    Excellent question.

    What's the answer?

No but the media is free to look into it by any legal means if they so wish.
