Supposedly we are, but the spring game didn't show it.

Not really. Alabama, UF and UGA are better but that's about it.

And I would say Fitzgerald is a better head coach than McElwain and Smart

Mizzou, UK and Vandy are miserably bad football teams. Appy State doesn't have but maybe two sec caliber players, VT just flat out isn't athletic, TAMU is burning, Ohio is Ohio, South Carolina lost their only playmaker and Tennessee Tech is Tennessee Tech.

    Butch really has no excuses

This is the lightest schedule I can remember.

No. That Northwestern team was Kentucky level.

He was a helluva player too. I doubt he ever leaves NW...

Okay. Tell me who on Kentucky is as good as Godwin Igwebuike or Justin Jackson

Please, A-Smith, prove me wrong. Tell me how Kentucky would fare against Stanford or Duke or Wisconsin

I understand hating Butch and I'm not saying Northwestern is anything special, but look at what everyone on Tennessee's schedule did last season.

It's really, really light for the first time in a long time

    Absolutely not.

Butch has absolutely no reason to go less than 10-2

There really just isn't an excuse to not go 11-1.

Edit: I'm just continuously late here. But Groves and I seem to be on the same page haha.

I would also agree that 11-1 is the absolute target, and with a lucky bounce 12-0. Lyle will have to really pull out the stops to mess this season up.

I don't know. The pressure of actually being favored in big games may cause him to combust.

I don't care how they do it, TE/H-backs/extra OL, whatever. Stop running Hurd laterally, almost exclusively, and get that freight train a head of steam toward the LoS with some lead blocking. It won't suck if they'll do it.

They were slow and small. Big 10 was extremely top heavy and NW lost 40-10 to an Iowa team that we all know wasn't that talented. 2015 NW and Kentucky play 10 times and Kentucky wins 3 or 4. I realize I can't prove nothing but that was my opinion at the time.

So, you're saying Kentucky would go 3-7 or 4-6 against Northwestern but Northwestern is comparable to Kentucky?
