DY returned a kick to the 40. And y'all said he wasn't the man for the job. Gurley didn't get past the 40 on kickoffs today.

 

He moved the needle closer "what a big bastard with a WR skill set should be doing" today. We'll see what he does going forward, but its better than anything we have seen from him to this point, and that's promising at least.

 

Sure. He played well today. And it should be expected of him.

 

Jason just needs a fresh avatar from Sab.

 

I agree. I want the kid to do well.

With that said, applauding mediocrity or baby steps is what helped get us to this level in the first place.

 

I mean... He didn't really physically impose his will to get it. He had a much, much better shot at it and got it.

 

He should still be publicly berated for getting out muscled by a guy half a foot shorter and 30 pounds lighter than him.

 

Hence the reason I suggested that his new Sab avy be of him wearing a green no contact practice jersey.

 

Was more impressed by the jump ball the freshman TE won in the end zone.

 

Helm is gonna be a good one too as he adds more weight. I really like these freshmen TE's we've got now.

 

We need Croom to continue to improve.

 

We need Malone to see all of Croom's opportunities.

 

I liked what I saw out of Malone today except for the time that he gave up on the home run ball in the end zone. He could've kept fighting and drawn a PI, at least.
