He is the kind of guy who could have a blow out year in college and make himself a lot of money because of it. I'm usually for a guy going pro as soon as he can get on a roster, but in rare cases, there's the possibility of really improving your paycheck by staying that would make it worth it. Jennings looks like a guy who might be in that category, but I'm neither a good enough evaluator or close enough to the situation to know. I hope he has some good advisers somewhere.
But are any of our WRs going to get targeted enough to have a resume? I almost would say 'to hell with it' and declare and sign a free agent contract at worst after blowing em out at the combine. I bet Callaway doesn't have 40 catches by the end of the year.
I'll bet he does. Jennings was on pace to have a bunch. Dormady doesn't seem like a big spread it around guy and the other WRs didn't really impress. I think there are going to be quite a few routes where it's Calloway or dump off to Wolfe or Kelly or throwaway.
Only two people in the four years here have had over 40 catches in a season under Butch: Pig Howard and Josh Malone.
He seems to have his head on straight. I don't think he'd make a decision that bad. Probably won't transfer to Baylor, either.
