Absolutely. My sister-in-law is 15 and her boyfriend is 17. They spend their time trying to see who can take the funniest selfie. Sadly, any other guy she's around is just as goofy and awkward as this guy.

True but a lot of kids do struggle now with direct communication, since so much is digtial now.

I got some strange often from AIM.

 

AIM and MSN Messenger were where it was at back in the day. High-school versions of Tinder, if you will.

 

Yes it was. Met my wife in high school and we talked on AIM my senior year when it first got big. Of course my internet connection was about 2 mbps.

 

I had dial-up. I used to HATE when people called the house while I was online. Usually, I was spittin' game on MSN or AIM, and then I would get kicked offline.
