It's hard to grasp what was going on in his head without a motive. I know ISIS claimed it but who knows there. His brother said he had no political or religious holdings.
His girlfriend? Until I see more on her background, associates, etc., then I am definitely holding open the possibility that she influenced or was used to influence.
I agree, funny that authorities almost immediately announced that they thought she had no involvement. She needs to be brought in for questioning and that 100,000 should be siezed and used for the victims.
She's in Japan. Even if they think she's involved they aren't going to say it publicly. Can't afford to spook her.

That didn't reveal itself until he was 64? 64 year old millionaire with no criminal history. It doesn't make sense.
Just guessing obviously. No money issues, no religious or political radicalization. Not a war vet. But evidently planned well ahead. Not sure when it started with his dad, but there is a family history of some sort of psychosis. Dad was on fbi most wanted list and son a mass murderer.
