ohhhhhhh. I'm definitely replacing the hot wings appetizer for crab cakes from Chick's Oyster Bar in Lynnhaven Bay, Va Beach. Or I'm taking both. It's my last freaking meal.
It's literally about 200 yards west of the exit ramp. The restaurant faces away from the road you come in on so isn't easy to see, but anyone around there can point you right to it. Be forewarned, it's pricey.
appetizer: Spoon bread from the Boone Tavern restaurant in Berea, KY meal: my mom's pot roast with potatoes and carrots dessert: a whole half-gallon of Mayfield Moose Tracks ice cream beverage: ice water served in an aluminum cup and a glass bottle of ice cold coca cola
On that ice cream front, anyone remember Goo Goo Cluster Ice Cream? Haven't seen it in years, but was easily my favorite. Has been replaced by Blue Bell's Key Lime Pie, but would probably switch back immediately.
Appetizer - Bang bang shrimp with a side of mozerella sticks Main course - Full rack o' ribs from Germantown Commissary, double order of jalapeno cheese grits from Sullivan's in Maryville, and as many O'Charley's rolls as I can handle. Desert - Tiramasu from a local desert place that is just fantastic Drink - appromimately 2 gallons of my aunt's sweet tea Come to think of it, I'd like to have this for dinner tonight.....
