There will be discussions on Alan Williams moving up, former Bears DC that's an analyst.

That's an ideal move, when a school and former coach align like that. Nothing but upside.

Had a pretty good D there the year before he resigned. Defense was shit before and after him too.

Huh - I saw a headline that Franklin was trying for it but didn't see it was finalized. Oh well, he's not a white whale type DC.

Maybe Banks can reunite with the gang and go be DB coach there.

Ryan Walters or possibly Jerod Mayo as his replacement if Alan Williams isn't promoted

I like the idea of Mayo, because then if Heupel did decide to leave in a couple of years we would have a solid HC option in-house.

    Gloomy card -

I always assumed Inge was brought in to replace banks if he ever got a head coaching gig. What if they just stick with that plan?

Does he want to coach college? It’s a big difference from nfl

No internal promotions please. This program needs a fresh set of eyes on it.

In this day and age, I guess you have to consider that an outside hire possibly brings guys with him.

Ideally a defensive backs coach. Willie Martinez can go collect a paycheck and help get a head coach or DC fired elsewhere.
