Who's saying that? The path to a head coaching search is illuminated by the dim light of a coordinator hire. Bring on the future! Whatever it might be.
Please get an OL coach that understands how to develop OL. It’s such an underrated skill and such a coachable position. Execution and the little things matter. I’ve been reminded of such so often lately with State Farm putting Trey on. Yes he is and was good but the cowboy hat and overcoming what we thought was a career ending condition. Damn we need that guy’s type. I hope he’s making a ton on those ads. Poppa keeps asking for toughness and I agree. Discipline, Intensity, Maulers…
4 overall did well. He wasn’t supposed to come in and start and had some tough early matchups. He was just in HS last year and it’s a big adjustment. As we all know, the zone coaching and calls were pathetic for the most part, including 4th and 7 v Ga. 4 was right there. Great throw. But why we leaving our true freshman ISO’D with no help on 4th and 7 while dropping a DT into coverage. Give him help and let him sit on the sticks and send 5. Stupid ass zone blitz dropping a DT and sending a safety that is 12 yards away. Just dumb. Qb saw the DT drop and knew he had 1 v 1 on a true freshman cb and chunked it.
Re: S&C coach. I don't even know who that is for us. This is the guy I remember. https://usastrengthcoacheshf.com/member/john-stucky Geez, I'm old. I would have to say under "The HC who should not be named", we always seemed to have somebody get hurt every game. I mean it is not often that you hear about an athlete falling on a helmet.
