If anyone is interested, a friend of mine is raising money to get his dog back from the ex wife who take him to Utah with her. He's selling a nice wooden table as a means to raise the $475 he needs to arrange transport from Utah to Maryville. If any of you met me at the tailgate before the Vandy game this is for my friend Jeff that was with me. He's a really good dude and if anyone is interested in a cool table and helping a really good guy here's your chance.

    This is the facebook page:

If you don't want a table but feel like throwing a couple bucks towards the cause donations can be made here:

Hope you can help, if not at the very least thanks for giving this a read.

?Good luck to him. What's the alternative if the money doesn't get raised? Headed to the shelter?

I live in Denver and sometimes drive home to Knoxville. Could I be of help? What are the time constraints on this?

again...thanks all...KPT...not sure, he seems hopeful that this will turn out for the best.

IP...dog is currently with humane society. ex wife had another/got another dog that didn't like Jack. Not sure what type of timeline he is working with...you have any trips home planned soon?

He needs to contact a local rescue, which will have fosters. The rescue needs to pull the dog from the humane society right damn fast. They can then push the dog to a foster until he can come get him/her.

Although, it looks like Maryville is a no-kill shelter.

I'd still probably ensure the dog isn't adopted by trying to find it a quick foster.

If the Humane Society is treating the dog like a foster dog, that is awesome.

I guess I could link up with you somewhere in Kansas, and transport from there.

A pony express. I could drive to the midpoint of Kansas with a week or so notice. Find a couple of links in the chain for Utah to Denver and someone to get him down to Kentucky, we'd have something.

I can gladly handle the grueling trek from Knoxville to Maryville.
