I’m cooking a rib roast tomorrow. I’ve always used the recipe from Food Network where after seasoning it you cook it for 5 minutes per pound at 500 degrees and then shut the oven off and leave the door closed for 2 hours. Might swap it up this year. Anyone got a good and easy recipe for one ?
Ate at a place in Baton Rouge called BRQ on Sunday. Highly recommend if you are in town. Have a Cajun sauce that adds a nice kick to it.
I do Julia child. 425 for 15 325 after. 11-13 minutes a pound. Pull it when internal is 120. Always has worked out well.
Emain has a great recipe that I used and it worked perfectly. I am actually trying to find it so I can use it again this year.

So tonight I am grilling hot fish, lawrys/Worcestershire marinades flat iron steak thinly sliced to medium, cajun bison sliders with pepper Jack cheese and a big chicken breast which I will burn. Chicken scares me.
Went with jerk seasoning and a little butter in some foil and the tilapia was surprisingly a hit. Need a better fish next time but light and spicy
