1 Joey sucked 2 O line sucked worse 3 Someone get Max Gilbert the [uck fay] out of Knoxville 4 Outcoached 5 How do you miss 12 men breaking the huddle? Every single thing that cost us this season cost us again today. Banks was only part of the problem. There are still issues that need to be corrected.
Joey is what everyone said he was going into the season. A turnover machine, but this season his turnovers directly cost us games. He’s not the only issue, but his turnovers didn’t help.
I've convinced myself next year is the last for Heup. This season (in year 5) has shown he does not have it. I like the guy, but he ain't it.
Ultimately, this doesn't matter. But I'm wondering how long it's going to be before we have a defense that can be trusted.
Not one decent win the entire season. We just had the easiest back to back schedules that any of us will ever see for the rest of our lives too.
I only got to watch the last 5 minutes, but that offsides at the very end was the most fitting end to this season.
Exactly. I'm not the least bit surprised with the loss. This team has been absolutely horrible, and that definitely includes coaching.
We have now lost 23 straight games when losing by 10 or more points going into the 4th Quarter. Absolutely embarrassing!!
It feels like next year could be ok in terms of record but really really bad in terms of vibes. It would be staying on current course more or less.
All depends on the portal. If we get the right pieces there we will be a better team. 9-3 will get some SEC teams into the playoff with 9 conference games.
We gave up almost 600 yards rushing to Vandy and illinois. The entire D and strength staff needs to gtfo
Heupel gave me a great stretch. LSU and Bama in ‘22. That doesn’t merit any grace after the last 3 seasons. You already renewed every shitty coach on staff. I’m out on him and Danny. But, the fix is Heupel fires everyone on staff he had any connection with before UT. Ellarbee is fired before 8am tomorrow or he forfeits 100k an hour until Ellarbee is fired. If that exceeds his salary he pays. If you can’t do what it takes to win then quit and no buyout. It’s unrealistic to demand championships every year but that is no more unreasonable than to pay Heupel to be a loser.
Unfortunately Heupel used all his QB recruiting hits the first half of his career. Only misses from here on out.
LBs and Safeties don't understand gap assignments and leverage and angles. No one seems to know what an edge is and how to set it.
