This is the exact same argument that people trying to get the shift banned are using lol.

It was fun to see Pujols win a round, even if I think he was the happiest person there that Soto beat him.

Rodriguez pitchers deserves props, he was money.

At Pujol's age and mileage, I am not sure I would have even signed up. You know you have to be dead tired the next day if you go too deep into that thing.

Reds got an absolute haul for Castillo

3 of the top 5 prospects in one of the top farm systems in the league.

Deadline Eve and I can't wait to see what piece of trash starter the front office decides to trade for this year, then tell the fan base we could have had Alcantara or someone but we didn't want to give up prospects.

    Hader to San Diego.

    That's interesting.

They’re 9-22 in their last 31. It’s kind of hard to tell these days.

Austin Riley officially takes the torch from Freddie Freeman as the cornerstone of the franchise with the club announcing a 10 year 212 million extension today. If he continues to hit like he has been since June it will be a financial bargain for the Braves in the long run. Gold glove talent defensively too.

Plus they still have Acuna, Ozzie and Swanson locked in on relatively cheap deals. Bravos also have an embarrassment of riches of young pitchers. Is there a better GM in baseball currently than Anthopolous? Dude deserves a county in Georgia named after him with how he somehow patched together a championship roster from thin air during last year’s deadline.

Swanson isn't locked in long term, yet. I'd imagine AA will focus on him now after getting a deal done with Riley.

Olson is locked in through 2029 with a club option in 2030.

Yea Dansby is definitely next on the list. I bet AA finds a way to keep Dansby long term. He could blossom into the south’s shortstop version of Derek Jeter. Just feels like he is meant to be one of those classic Brave lifers.

And it’s still a tad early to make definitive proclamations, but Atlanta may also have hit the jackpot with Michael Harris ll. Kid is capable of dropping nukes and has played out of his mind overall for someone that is supposed to still be in Double A ball. As good as his hitting has been he’s even better defensively. Dude has Andruw Jonesesque range and an arm like Vladimir Guerro

He might even be as good as Jeff Francoeur, Jason Heyward, and the Uptons

No one will ever be as good as Francoeur. Sir, he's the GOAT.

Well, Quintana isn't the sexiest pick up, but he's legit steady. Not bad.
