Looks like the Braves will win 95+ games so it’s hard to complain. Mets are on pace for like 105 though. I wanted to avoid that 3 game wild card nonsense though

I don’t think this one and the Riley deal are all that crazy. Still unclear what Michael Harris will be long term. And Riley, although, he is currently living up to the contract he got, has been surprising. No one thought he would be quite this good so it’s still possible he will regress.

Now the Albies and Acuna deals always had insane value.

 

Harris' defense alone is almost enough to justify the contract and anything you get from the plate out of him is just a bonus. He will be elite in center for a long time if he stays healthy.

As good as Riley has been the last couple of months, I still am afraid he will revert back towards the player that struggled to beat out Camargo at 3rd. It just doesn't feel sustainable with him for some reason. Hope I'm wrong.

 

Good point on Harris. I was hoping BJ Upton was his floor but BJ Upton never played CF like this, so Harris's floor is higher.

Agree on Riley. I love him but don't trust him. He should be happy with that contract.
