MLB has a major, major problem and I don't see anyway in the world they play the 27 season. Also - I don't blame the Dodgers. I hate what they are doing, but I can't blame them either.
But if it kills the game you are making money on, is it in your best interest to do something just because you can? Just a feeling, but I think a lot of sports are heading to a coming to Jesus moment soon. Especially with sports betting making the whole thing full of doubt and suspicion.
Now need to somehow get Murphy in. I know some of the numbers imply otherwise, but I always thought Andruw and Dale deserved it more than McGriff. Murphy was in the best player in baseball conversation for over half a decade. The 80s just didn't have the gawdy stats of the 90s.
Murphy was a hell of a player. And a damn good man, too, that I remember. I would like to think his Mormonism is not some kind of hold back, but you never know people.
