Under NCAA rules I believe he can technically be a pro in baseball and still be allowed to play collegiate football right?
It's weird but I think as long as you are not receiving financial compensation related to the collegiate sport your participating in and have never been pro in that sport you're eligible. It's how Brandon Weeden was able to be a 40 year old QB despite being a pro in baseball. Or maybe I'm completely off-base.

Ok, but eligibility is determined regardless of scholarship status right? Otherwise a basketball player could take money from an agent, not like their draft prospect, and come back and play off scholly.
