Trout getting 12 years $430 million. Seems like a bargain for the Angels.

 

They still owe him like 65 mil on his current deal.

Total baseball earnings will be around 575 million.

 

Only bad part about this is he doesn't get the pub he would be getting if he was further east. Might be the best player in the history of the game before all is said and done, is the exact personality baseball needs to be face of the game, and is on west coast.

 

That said, we're probably headed to the end of baseball in 2021 unless a lot changes.

I'd like to see no mound trips. Never understood that even as a kid. If a guy can't figure out what to do out there, that should be part of the game. Leave him in or yank him. For me it's not really about speed of the game. Just the principle.
