More slop for the trough (Nega stats)

Okay, so, did some digging.

In 2013, our Offense was 87/125 in terms of yards per play with 5.3.

In 2014 it was 115/125 in 2014 getting a paltry 4.8ypp with all offensive staff in their 2nd year.

Vandy just fired their OC after 1 year because they finished 119/125 and getting 4.7ypp.

What's good enough for Tennessee in the 2nd year is not good enough for Vanderbilt in the first year.

oh this is waaaay too simple to answer ---- not coaching... it's all due to an inexperienced offensive line. just one of those things nobody but nobody can control.

Elusive? We are in it every year. We just get bounced from a triple elimination bracket before the middle of October.

 

97th in yards per attempt (6.35), 115th in yards per completion (10.36). 110th in yards per carry (3.42).

 

I am sure the stats suck **** up to the point Worley stopped playing which was 3/4 of the season. We ain't burning any barns down but am sure the post Worley stats have to be much better.

 

having the lowest offensive output Vandy has allowed all season definitely doesn't help though
