Maybe I'm just being picky, but doesn't putting dates by it make the whole "L" part of VFL seem a little odd?

 

I like it. VFL should be a title reserved for former players yet it has become bastardized by every hick within the fan base via t-shirt, tattoos, and car decals. Sorry to go all Stolen Valor but I think adding dates to it does help restore some of the luster.

 

All well and good, but it still kinda looks like he was a Vol for "Life" for four years. I don't mind the dates. I'm just not in love with the placement.

 

Put the first year and a dash but not a last year.

 

instead of a last year, just put an infinite symbol

 

Put the dates on a separate line with the position. Put VFL elsewhere.

I can't think of one good reason Al Wilson isn't on the defensive staff, it's not like hiring someone without credentials was ever a issue. We've spent the last 20 years hiring supposed diamonds in the ruff that turned out to be dirt clods, at least he loves the orange.

 

I’m pretty sure his pregame speech marked the (negative) turning point of our season. So there’s a good reason.
