Students ain't happy about $85 tix to a crap bowl

 

I'll be sure to buy zero of them.

 

I wouldn't be either. $85 for a shitty bowl game between shitty teams.

Student tickets should be $15 at most for this. General public should start $25.

 

That's ridiculous. I'm sure I paid 60 or 65 list for the MCB when Dooley went. The bowl game isn't any more prestigious now.

 

Crappy bowl for a craptastic letdown of a season.

That said, would love to payback Nebraska for the two beatdowns we received from them in the 90s.

 

I will give Stitch Jones a pat on the back for one thing and it is this: He's donating 100% of the bowl bonus to the Gatlinburg fire victims. But that is the only thing he deserves it for.

 

There was a lot of commotion/pressure from fans to do it.

I don't think he has announced any such thing. Could be wrong. Hope he does.

I'm pretty sure this is just a social media rumor making its rounds in an attempt to pressure him into doing so.

 

I'm no fan of Botch, but that is a pretty shitty thing to do to him.

Is there a rumor that Jones will forego his buyout in honor of the Wildfire Relief Efforts?

If not, how best to start it?

 

Guess seeing it as shitty depends on two things:

1. You don't think that victims of wildfires could use another $100k, and
2. You think that Jones has done anything to deserve a dime of the money that we've paid him this season, or at all.

 

It's always fun to say how bother people should use their money.

 

Butch has excuse for the MCB. "It was the first time any of our players had played in a NFL stadium"

 

Seems like it could be a nice year end tax move for Jones if he needs one.
