Friend posts picture of her daughter eating snow cream Saturday. This is the first comment on the picture - I can remember back in the 60's that we were warned not to eat the snow because the Russians had poisoned it. Now they help morons become President...might be worse than poisoned snow. Take names out, what in the world is wrong with us that this is your response?
Things are batshit crazy. As I posted in the Undead thread, I was just called out for not hating the Oscars. I called the guy out on whether it was was some right wing woke purity test, and now, it's not about politics. Now, it's about sin and Jesus. Pretty soon, reason is going to be outlawed.
We are bored and have no real external enemy. So we turn on each other like a pack of starving wolves.
You and I would, but I don't think most people do. They are too busy ordering their iPhones and t-shirts from there. And they are seen more as an economic foe vs an existential foe like the USSR was.
I waffled between thinking that it wasn't bad to it was silly looking. I think having Trump as the subject makes it difficult to judge.
