At first glance, I anticipated that this would be some suburban-Dad-white-guy-turned-bureaucrat who had invoked Tupac in some tone deaf or outright racist way. Seems like he’s a legit fan, and that he routinely included info on Tupac, including pictures, lyrics and reminding people of his birthday. Not sure why they’d shit can the guy for that.

I love black twitter, and particularly when they’re given such a great premise as this.

I wonder if Iowa got a ghetto, and if that was his downfall.

Is it Iowa or Idaho that has the smallest black population of any state in the country?

I seem to recall having seen some census data some time ago and was shocked that one of those two states literally had like 100 black families or something similarly bizarre.

maybe Idaho, if 100 families is an exaggeration. there are surely more than 100 in Boise, and there is an AFB where I was born in mountain home. but it is very white, with a smattering of Hispanic. a fair amount of crazies living in compounds hating anyone without stringy hair and zz top beards.

    Sorry, it was Montana.

Useless Trivia: There are app. 10,500 black people - people, not families - who live in both Montana and Wyoming.

If we wanted to divvy up state land for reparations, each black person in those states would receive 23 square miles.

So, pretty much anywhere in the upper Midwestern US would be TennTra’s hellscape.

by tt's standards, from the scablands to Minnesota and north of there all the way up to yellowknife is no country for children. in a snowy winter, the number of visible humans in the upper midwest can drop to zero if they all blink simultaneously.

In terms of his flow, yes.

In terms of his lyrics, not a chance.

    Yeah we really screwed Iowa.

It’s the textbook example of how screwed up the usda and farmers have screwed up things with monoculture.

It’s basically just one huge soy or corn field

how long can the land support that?

    It can’t support that now.

That’s why inputs have increased so dramatically.

That’s not being alarmist either. It’s an easy fix with no till and cover crops. We can still get the production while building topsoil.

Plus it fixes global warming too.
