He's very good. The best part is that he comes in with little pressure because of the veteran contributors returning.

    You've mistakenly inversed #1 and #15.

Does this team (on paper) look more like Sweet 16 or Final Four?

Surprised Kentucky isn't #1 and would like to know your reasons.

Izzo and K with experienced, future NBA guys are hard to ignore. UK is the most talented team. I think there's a significant gap between the top 5 and everyone else. If someone outside that group wins it, I'll be very surprised.

Sweet 16, maybe Elite Eight with some breaks.

LSU is the most intriguing team in the SEC, I think. I don't know a tremendous amount about Jones, but he seems to be recruiting well. Of course, I also thought Trent Johnson would have a solid career in Baton Rouge, too.

Hard not to recruit well at LSU since I can remember. Too many good players within 2 hours of the campus, most of which have no issue with staying home.

You like Tennessee ahead of Memphis? I have see. Most pundits go the other way.... Curious as to why you had that? Coaching or Youth for Memphis in post?

I don't think that perimeter rotation is going to coexist as well as people think and I don't like their coaching much.

Wait, coaching? What are you talking about? Pastner gets three more AAs on the roster and he might make the Sweet 16.

People don't realize that Stoudamire was the only coach of any value on that staff.

    Ouch. Didn't make coaches poll.

Actually heard that from some knowable basketball coaches around town.

What will the Mizzou transfer Dixon give them?

A little more defensive grit, but he's mostly duplicative of Joe Jackson. I don't think he makes them that much better, unless Pastner can find a way to make a four guard lineup work.

Where is he now? I think he will end up being a good head coach.

Also have you heard anything on where Mike Rice might turn up at? I hope he gets another shot.

    Stoudamire is at Arizona.

Rice will have to lay low for awhile. Nobody is going to touch him right now.

Not going to be a top 25 team this year but look for South Alabama to make the tournament. Augustine Rubit averaged 19/10 last year. They are kind of young but i have a good friend on staff and think they are going to do a great job.
