Just finished watching it. The Manitowoc County officials are disgusting human beings. I know it's told from the perspective of the defense attorneys and Steven Avery supporters, but my God that was awful.

We're told that this almost never happens, except when it happens.

 

Been watching it now. Avery's desperate phone conversation in jail the second time is powerful. "Poor people lose. Poor people lose all the time." That's the way it seems to me, too.

 

Really great doc. I recommended people also examine the DA's response to the film. Adds important context the directors' cut out, even for those of us sympathetic to Avery and Dassey.

 

The one who was sexting domestic abuse victims while popping pills and later going to sex addict rehab?

 

They release anything?

I already hate the cop with the stache who drew the pictures, and we are not even near the good part yet.

 

The public defender is eminently punchable.

 

Yeah. His pictures are more valuable evidence than DNA.
