I want to see that whiteboard

If they are smart they will make a t-shirt and various other merch out of it

Woodstock 99 documentary on HBO was very very well done.

Yes, it was. That is my exact generation as I was 22 in 1999. I had a friend go there and tell me then what a shit show it was.

Just realized Dr Death is streaming on Peacock. I knew him when he was at ECS. One of his victims was his "best friend" and friend of mine named Jerry Summers. Jerry was a big, very tough but also very nice guy, and was intentionally made quadriplegic by Dr death. Jerry died this year.
I'm going to try to watch it, though it will be tough. Can you imagine having a supposed friend do a routine cervical fusion, which is often done now in about 20-30 minutes from cut to close, and waking up in a worst of nightmares, unable to move. Trapped for the rest of your life.

Watched the first episode of What If today.

Not sure this one is going to draw me in like the others.

The "What If" comics were always a very niche market anyway.

I really enjoyed the first season of Dave. The second season has sucked so far, imo.

Also finished the last season of Shameless earlier this week. That was as rough of a last season for a previous top tier show as I've ever seen.

The super modern/realistic meets classic Disney style animation is fantastic in What If?

The reason I liked them the most was because they tended to be "one offs" that didn't require being able to buy a whole series of comics over a period of months. That is also the reason why this show won't suck people in the same way the Marvel cinematic universe mainline will, because in the end it doesn't matter and doesn't go anywhere.

Coach Beard from Ted Lasso is a top 1% supporting character

Jamie Tartt isn’t quite on the level of Beard and Kent, but he’s pretty damned fantastic too

I don’t know if there is a bad character on the show

not a huge fan of the owner. The fact I can’t even remember her name says it all

Been rereading Y: The Last Man ahead of the show on FX.

If the show is half as good as the comic it’s gonna be awesome
