The Untouchables is in my top 10

 

Top 30, for sure.

His second best role was of JFK aide Kenneth O’Donnell in the movie 13 days. Best was Ness in Untouchables.

Have never seen Tin Cup or Bull Durham, because I can just hit myself in the balls with a hammer and save the two hours.

 

Costner is bottom five. The only movie he's actually good in is Tin Cup.

That's not to say he hasn't been in good movies. He just hasn't been good in them. Amy Schumer is a better actor than he is.

Costner is, actually, a horrible, horrible actor. I mean, bad. He was good in a couple of movies that used his horrible acting well.

He was actually good in Silverado, and I liked him in the new Highwaymen on Netflix. Bull Durham and Tin Cup seemed like they were just him being himself, and possibly the same with Field of Dreams.

Amazing how many movies he was in that I like. I started this post railing on Costner, but damn if he isn't in half a dozen movies that I love.

 

His "whats in it for me" dialogue with Ray Liotta in Field of Dreams was as bad as acting and line deliver gets.
He was good in Mollys Game appearance. Seems if hes not the main guy, hes better.

 

Like I said, he’s been in some good/great movies, but he’s done nothing to make them so; brought them down from where they could’ve been if anything. Akin to a -10 WAR.

I think Ozil is slightly overrated too but those guys took it too far

 

I’ve started The Wire.

 

Hang in there through season two. Seasons three and four are the two best seasons of television ever, in my opinion.

 

I'm about 5 in and loving it. If it gets better than I can see why it is considered one of the GOATs.
