Netflix Streaming Recommendations/TV Talk

Miller took him from a tier 3 hero who's title as about to get scrapped to one of the hottest comics around in just a few months.

 

Frank Miller is responsible for Robocop, 300, a lot of the material for the shitty Ben Affleck Daredevil movie and the Batman Affleck

 

First season of JJ is up there with it, but no doubt about it

 

2nd season of iron fist was a bit better than the first. Going to 10 episodes helped. The ending teaser was crazy and has me interested.

 

I just watched the first episode of season 2 and was fairly bored, but I actually thought season 1 was decent. When does it pick up?

 

If you aren't feeling any attachment by the end of ep 3, just skip to the end of the season.

 

In other Marvel news, there is now an official Marvel podcast telling a story about Wolverine in Alaska.

 

Anyone checked out Haunting of Hill House, yet?

Currently at 9.1 on IMDB and seeing reviews call it a "perfect horror series". Might have to convince the wife to suck it up and watch with me.

I finally caved and started watching The Office.

Season 2 has me rolling

 

How did you hold out this long?

I don't think I've ever kept up with many shows live. The only streaming service I have is Prime Video so no option to watch without buying. Bought season 1 to give it a fair shot and now I'm hooked

 

Season 1 was a little hard for me to watch. It's on comedy central almost every day all afternoon. I finally went on Netflix and started watching from episode 1. If I started watching #1, I probably wouldn't have made it.

 

Season 1 was just enough to bring me back for season 2, and season 2 hooked me.

 

Seasons 2-4 are as good as comedy gets IMHO

It's such a good representation of real life offices.

One of my favorite moments is Dwight using an exercise ball as his office chair. He's talking about how good it is for the back, the abs, etc. He's knocking stuff over.

Jim asks how much one costs then pops Dwight's exercise ball.
