Also, Casey Clausen screamed at me to sit down at a basketball game.

I was involved in an altercation at Cotton Eyed Joe with Casey and a few others in college.

    Allegedly.

He tried to pick up my girlfriend at the time on numerous occasions.

Bingo. Troll job, and brilliant too.

What's that small time basketball program that has "silent night" where you can hear a pin drop until the 10th point is scored?

That's the way we need to be all the time we're on offense.

Well..maybe a little noise.. stone cold silence might make the players more nervous. Who knows? But complete silence while on offense >>>>>>>>> 115 decibels while on offense

He is, and I agree with him.

I think it actually detracts from the game day atmosphere.

EDIT: note that I only read the non-subscriber blurb and not the full article.

    I hate the jumbo tron.

    I hate the canned music.

Maybe I am no longer the demographic they are after, but I cannot imagine the magic of Florida 1992 happening with how that place is now.

I have never been so wet as I was that day. I had to take a shower to dry myself off when I got home.

I don't mind any of it. The OU game only lacked 1 thing and it didn't have a damn bit to do with that stuff.

I've never been in a harder rain in my life. And I was stuck in a field in Aiken, SC when a tornado went by 500 yards from where I was standing. I think my appendix was wet from that one.

I agree in principle, although the jumbo is good for replays.

I don't like guitar players in the stands and, while I understand the Swiperboy music videos, I don't care much for the random Atlanta rapper yelling me from the jumbotron.

If he thinks Neyland is loud now, wait until Jon Gruden becomes head coach.

I wasn't at the 92 Florida game but I was at the Clausen fumble game. That was pretty miserable, for a few reasons.
