Have y'all realized that ESPN/ABC have the Super Bowl next year and how miserable it will be watching anything on the network?
I've been to one game there and was laughing at how the Michigan folks were bragging. The Horseshoe in Columbus wasn't particularly special either. I know I'm biased but Neyland is a special place and Auburn and LSU are also up there. As bad as I hate to say it, everyone should see one game at South Bend too
Other than Tennessee/Michigan/Alabama most of the ones I've been to have been smaller, but Neyland is still easily my favorite that I've been to. Army's stadium and campus is cool too but that's not based on size
This is the absolute least I’ve been interested in a Super Bowl insomuch as I had to think about who was playing and wasn’t sure for a minute.
I’m even lacking a little enthusiasm, but I guess 11 Super Bowl appearances in 30 years probably takes some of the shine off it.
I can’t remember a Super Bowl with so little talk leading up to it. I honestly had forgotten about the game until my wife asked me last night what we were doing for the game.
I’m always up to hate watch the Patriots, but it usually doesn’t go well. But on the rare occasion that every bounce, tip, or 50/50 call doesn’t break in their favor it’s great. Aside from the Patriots, Sam Darnold winning a SB would be a pretty cool story. Talk about a guy who was completely left for dead.
Wife took her afternoon nap and made me record Olympic Figure Skating. So I suspect I will we will be watching that (at least at the kickoff) and IDC enough to walk upstairs and watch the Super Bowl on the grandkids flat screen gaming TV. I may just take a power nap sitting on the couch until she is done.
just woke up from one myself. One of those when you wake up you are disoriented and left side of face was numb so for a second I wondered if I had a stroke.
Also, if the Patriots win there is a 100% chance that Butch will claim that he coached a Super Bowl winning QB.
If NE wins this, the most impressive thing will be that they did it with Will Campbell at LT. He’s awful.
