Does it negatively impact Tom Brady’s legacy if he leaves after this season, and the Patriots continue their streak of greatness without him?

 

Absolutely.

Will make his 6 Superbowl rings seem more like 4, maybe 4.5.

Will make his Supermodel wife seem more like a regular model wife.

 

No. Six SBs is six SBs.

And not at you, but the use of "legacy" is one of my biggest hatreds in sport these days.

 

Right now, few people will argue that he isn’t the GOAT. If Bill wins a few Super Bowls without him, I think people will start to question if Brady was as important to his Super Bowl winning teams as we thought.

 

I would direct it at him. Indy seems to like "what would that do to his legacy?" discussions

 

Isn't a discussion of potential future events and how they might affect people one of the main purposes of a message board?

He will play. Only thing an elite WR loves more than himself is money, and he isn’t turning down all that cash he got.

 

He has done something I thought near impossible, make Ben Roethlisberger look like a decent guy

 

Baker Mayfield is going to be a fantastic heel if the Browns begin to win.

 

I’m torn between really liking the guy and having to cheer for the Browns to be successful. But my hatred for all things Ohio, Cleveland, and Haslams definitely wins out.

 

I find myself a Browns fan. Ohio does suck but Baker is a good, potentially great, football player, and easier to cheer for than the Titans

 

I'm in the same boat.

But man, this guy is the perfect makeup for a heel.

 

He won the starting job at two schools as a walk on. He's got a good reason to be a heel too
