I think Rodgers is pretty much done, especially as an elite QB. Too many times behind a shitty OL, getting away with poor mechanics and age has taken its toll.

I still haven't figured out how this shit team with only a couple of good players managed to go 13-3.

    Same.

Was hoping to keep it competitive, but not surprised by this at all.

Well I mean, we expected a 160yd 3td performance out of a running back today

You've gotta have players, multiple players, to win. The Packers thought, for years, they were so [dadgum] smart they could find all these great players with their superior ability to identify talent in the middle rounds of the draft and not bother with free agency very often. In reality, they had a once in a generation talent at QB who bailed them out for years and these dumbasses thought they were something other than the football equivalent of Jerry Krause.

You're probably right, Unimane. But also, the 49ers are a quality football team. The best teams are going to the Super Bowl this year.

Also, a Vol is guaranteed to win the Super Bowl this year now.

The 49ers also picked up high draft picks and were willing to spend on free agents. You can't win titles piling up 3rd, 4th and 5th round draft picks, which has been the m.o. of Green Bay for years. Plus, we haven't really focused on building quality line play since Holmgren left.

Sounds like the Colts. A jillion first round picks on offense and they all did well... I wonder why. And in that same time all the defensive first rounders were mediocre to bad. But still, draft geniuses.

If you can't win at home in the playoffs, you really can't complain.

    Niners have six pass attempts.

    Six.

As far as I’m concerned, Packer fan [itch bay]ing is the NFL version of First World Problems

For now. What we know is our window of opportunity is limited. We've been First World because of one guy. Once he's gone, we're in serious trouble because this front office and coaching coach staff isn't exactly like the Patriots.

I definitely did not have this team in the Super Bowl.

I thought they could win 10 games, maybe.

At 4-0, I was especially excited because if we could go 6-6 the playoffs looked realistic.

I really wanted the Seattle game at home.

After we beat the Saints, it felt like anything was possible.

Then we beat Seattle at their place.

And now the Super Bowl. What a ride.

The 49ers are going to beat Kansas City in a walk. An absolute walk.

Stars don’t matter - better teams win.
