Hurd out for the year with a torn ACL https://sports.yahoo.com/49ers-place-jalen-hurd-ir-172506759.html
Would you rather have a NFL team cancel their game due to social justice, or play.... but walk out during the National Anthem. Probably going to happen anyways, just curious what others think. I'd rather them just not play if its that important but I understand both sides. Just a hypothetical scenario for now.
Stop taking a paycheck from the US military and keep all players in the locker room for the anthem like they used to do. Problem solved
From wikipedia: Between 2012 and 2015, the Department of Defense gave $6.8 million to teams across all major sports in exchange for holding various military and patriotic events at their games, including the performance of the national anthem
I can't remember the year they started it in the NFL, but once the check was written teams weren't in the locker room anymore
I did not know that or even recall them not being on the field for the anthem. Surprised it was that recent. I guess I only see what the media pushes, thanks for the lesson.
If I'm the Chiefs, everytime I see Mahomes get hit, all I would see is $450,000,000 in cap money going up in smoke. And seeing the coaches buy not the players have to wear masks is funny. I get the perception thing, but come on.
