doesn't really matter if Taneyhill is qb imo. I like him ok but AJ or a replacement isn't going to make a difference in a title unless they can block and get better qb play as well as playcalling, which sucked at times. RPO on 3rd and less than 1 then end up punting on opponents side of the field in last game was one of a few awful calls, especially when you have a qb who can sneak it and be pushed by 250 behind him.
Getting guys drafted in the 2nd and 3rd round is great. Proud of those guys. Butler probably goes today.
Green Bay just traded down in the 5th round to pick up another 7th round pick. No big deal, but I always wonder why teams like the Packers so much value those 6th and 7th round picks. This year, the Packers have 4 in the 7th round now. When do you ever find shit in those rounds? It has struck me every year as this arrogant GM thing, believing you can find that diamond in the rough in the end no one knows.
Theo Jackson to the Titans is cool. He is a Nashville kid if I remember correctly. Happy for him he worked his butt off last year.
I don't even think he has that good of a camera presence. His voice is grating and I don't know how clear he can convey his thoughts. But hey, he might surprise.
So Kyler Murray gets 2nd most guaranteed money ever but has a clause that he has to watch game film. I'm sure this will work great.
I am not sure I would sign someone that I had to put in a clause that made them actually watch game film.
He’s only on the third year of his rookie deal yeah? They could shop him for a kings ransom and reset that qb clock with somebody from the upcoming class reeeeal quick after a nice tank year. I think Kyler is great, but idk if he’s shown leadership qualities and a work ethic I’d want to give that money to.
