Assume, for sake of argument, that Watson did what he is accused of having done. Would you refer to what he did as "violent?"
We seem to be in an age where, when people don't like the definition of a word, such as violent, they just use it anyway and claim it means something that it doesn't. But yeah, definitely super inappropriate and wrong. Just not "violent," imho.
His contract was built for him to miss this whole season. He won’t lose but like a million dollars this year or something that’s a pittance of his overall total of the 24o mil. If he’s not careful, he’s going to spend more trying to fight a suspension than he stands to lose by just sitting out. Then again, he’s obviously not very smart, so…
Didn’t know that. How disgusting. Part of me thinks the NFL is trying to play chess and encouraged Sue to hand down a lesser punishment so they could swoop in and swing the hammer themselves for “PR” but also double 6 games to 12 which still is weak but at least better than 6. Texans should get smoked too for giving him a [uck fay]ing NDA instead of stomping this out when they caught wind at the very least.
Sounds about right: Peterman struggled in the NFL, throwing five interceptions during the first half of his starting debut and posting a 0.0 passer rating in the 2018 season opener. His 12 interceptions between 2017 and 2018 are the most for a quarterback with less than 100 passing attempts.[1] Released by the Bills during the 2018 season, Peterman joined the Oakland / Las Vegas Raiders, where he served as a reserve player.
And, the further horrific part is, somehow, some way, there will be people who will find ways to blame her for the situation, especially if she ever has to take the stand.
No one should blame the drunk high school girl at the college party, people should be decent humans and get her out of there. With that being said, how is he not in jail?
