Now the season begins

College basketball conference tournaments are money grabs. What you did over the the season trumps what you did in a weekend.

 

I think we probably have a better chance of winning the conference tournament than winning the conference.

Would be really impressive not to lose 2 games down this stretch.

 

Wouldnt be shocked if someone got LSU.

 

While I agree, Tennessee needs an SEC tourney championship just because we haven't had one since 1979

 

their schedule is on the soft side, but they do have road trips to a couple bubble-battlers (Florida and Alabama). Those are losable.

 

I mean, a week ago it was nobody will beat UK.

CBB history almost guarantees somebody gets them.

 

They lost to Arkansas. They could easily lose 2 more. Plus, their last 3 games have been nail biters.

 

Come to think of it, that trip to Athens is a bit of a trap game—we’ll see if Crean can get his big year one upset

I don’t see it. At most two. This team held the number one spot for a month. We lose one more in the regular season and it won’t be to UK or LSU. This team has sleep walked through the last two weeks. They will be deadly the rest of the year.

 

@LSU, @Auburn and KY @ home will be very difficult games.

With the way Duke, Virginia, and Gonzaga are playing, I think we need to beat Kentucky at home and go at least as far as them in the SEC tournament to have a shot at a 1-seed. They will jump us if they beat us twice.

 

And they should.

I think we’re going to beat LSU on Saturday. Still uncertain about the rematch with Kentucky.

Probably couldn't beat any of Wade's teams.

Honestly, I'm shocked they even know which basket to shoot at and how to dribble the basketball.

 

Losses on neutral floor in OT to Kansas and at Rupp where cal has never lost btb games are inexcusable.
